1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the taxi and private hire services provided by 121 Carz Ltd (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By booking a journey with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms.


2. Booking Services

      • Bookings can be made via phone, our website, or mobile app.

      • All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation.

      • You are responsible for providing accurate information at the time of booking, including pickup address, destination, number of passengers, and any special requirements.


    3. Pricing and Payment

        • Fares are calculated based on distance, time, and any additional charges (e.g. waiting time, airport parking).

        • We reserve the right to adjust pricing based on traffic conditions or route changes.

        • Payment can be made in cash, by credit/debit card, or via approved third-party platforms.

        • Full payment must be made upon journey completion unless pre-paid.


      4. Cancellations and Refunds

          • Cancellations must be made at least 2 hours before the scheduled pickup time for a full refund.

          • Cancellations within 2 hours may incur a cancellation charge or the full fare.

          • In the event of a “no show” (i.e. the passenger is not at the agreed pickup point), the full fare will be charged.


        5. Delays and Liability

            • We will make all reasonable efforts to ensure timely service, but we are not liable for delays due to traffic, weather, road closures, or events beyond our control.

            • We are not responsible for any consequential losses due to missed appointments, flights, or connections.


          6. Passenger Conduct

              • Passengers must behave in a reasonable and lawful manner at all times.

              • Smoking, drinking alcohol, or the use of illegal substances in the vehicle is strictly prohibited.

              • Damage to the vehicle or abuse directed at drivers or staff may result in immediate termination of service and legal action.

              • Seat belts must be worn at all times in accordance with UK law.


            7. Luggage and Belongings

                • Passengers are responsible for their personal belongings.

                • We accept no liability for items lost or left in the vehicle, although we will do our best to recover them.


              8. Accessibility

                  • We aim to make our service accessible to all customers. Please notify us of any specific requirements when booking so we can make appropriate arrangements.


                9. Insurance

                    • All our vehicles are fully licensed and insured in accordance with UK law.

                    • Our insurance covers passengers while inside the vehicle only. We recommend you take out your own travel insurance for full coverage.


                  10. Account Customers

                      • Businesses or regular users may apply for an account.

                      • Account holders will be invoiced monthly with payment terms of 14 or 30 days (as agreed).

                      • Late payments may incur interest and/or suspension of the account.


                    11. Data Protection & Privacy

                        • We collect and process personal data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

                      12. Amendments

                          • We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available on our website.

                          • Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.


                        13. Governing Law

                        These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
